Darts legend Taylor in heartfelt apology after fan 'mis-sold' tickets for tour

DARTS legend Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor has issued a heartfelt apology to a fan who demanded a refund from one of his theatre shows.

Mark Moreton, from Stone, completed a 142-mile round trip to attend the 16-time world champion’s show at Birmingham Town Hall as a Christmas gift for his 91-year-old father-in-law Albert who lives in Leek.

They had snapped up tickets after the promotional material stated Phil would be playing an exhibition match as part of the event. But Phil has not played darts for more than a year and the exhibition match should not have been advertised.
