Delighted husband and wife in running for national award now
A CITY chippy run by a husband and wife has been named best in the county - and is now up for a national award.
Oak Hill Fish Bar, in London Road, hooked the title of Best Fish & Chip shop in Staffordshire 2025 at England's Business Awards.
Owners Mangal Singh and his wife Savita Rani - who have been serving satisfied customers for nearly 18 years - celebrated their win at a red carpet event in Birmingham.
The couple are delighted to have received the award, when they joined 350 business owners at the ceremony.
Mangal and Savita expressed their gratitude to all their customers, to whom they credit their success.
