BURSLEM 2nds continue to lead the way at the top of Division Four with a three-wicket victory over Kidsgrove.

Kidsgrove were put in and slipped to 28-5 but their innings was held together by an unbeaten 50 from Christian Barber.

Muhammad Chaudary added support lower down the order with 33 and extras was their third highest scorer with 29 as they managed 156-9 from their 40 overs.

Adam Ainsworth starred with the ball, taking 3-23.

Burslem struggled at first, falling to 28-3, but 36 from Michael Rowley kept them in touch.

At 134-7 it could have gone either way but an unbeaten 36 from Syed Haider Bukhari saw them home at 159-7. Joe Clay took 3-35.
