In tune with the soul: Celebrating Yoga and Music in times of turmoil

SOMEWHERE tonight, a child sleeps under a sky lit by missiles instead of stars. A mother hums to silence her fears. A siren slices through the tranquility of dawn. Across continents, the world trembles — fractured by war, frayed by suspicion, exhausted by its own noise.

And yet, amid this rising dissonance, two ancient forces still whisper a different truth — subtle, sacred, and salvific. Music and Yoga.

It is no coincidence that June 21st is shared by World Music Day and International Yoga Day. These are not separate observances, but twin flames each illuminating a path back to what we have lost. Music moves through sound; Yoga through silence. Music expresses itself in vibrations, Yoga in stillness. One touches the heart, the other touches the soul. Together, they guide us home to harmony, to healing, to wholeness.
