UPHSL Gains Global Recognition in Key Academic Rankings

A private, non-sectarian institution focused on education and health care has emerged as a significant player on the international academic stage, securing prominent positions in four major international rankings for 2025.

Biñan-based University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL) demonstrated robust leadership in innovation, sustainability, and research across the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Rankings, Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, AD Scientific Index, and the Applied HE.

In the 2025 WURI Rankings, which evaluated 1,253 universities from 87 countries, UPHSL demonstrated a notable presence. The university secured the 15th spot globally for University Brand and Reputation and ranked 17th in both Empowerment-based Management and Sustainability and Funding for Sustainability. Furthermore, UPHSL was recognized among the Global Top 400 Innovative Universities, placing 271st.
