SM Prime investing P3 B in Nasugbu upscale resort

Property giant SM Prime Holdings Inc. is allocating P3 billion for the development of an ecology resort in Nasugbu, Batangas, leaning heavier on the potential of the upscale segment.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, SM Prime said its leisure resort residences builder Costa Del Hamilo Inc. is investing P3 billion in M Village, a flagship project in Hamilo Coast's Marina Estates.

SM Leisure Resort Residences executive vice president and business unit head Shirley Ong said M Village is designed as a resort that caters to nautical adventurers from the wealthy class.
