SHAIRA DIAZ: NO ‘BRIDEZILLA' MOMENTS, JUST EXCITEMENT FOR MARRIAGE AND MOTHERHOOD

Despite the usual stress that comes with wedding planning, Shaira remains a "chill" bride-to-be, trusting the process and letting things fall into place naturally.

Even with wedding preparations underway, Shaira has no plans to slow down in showbiz.

"Hindi. Hangga't kaya, hangga't meron (work), go ako. That's what Baba and I agreed on as long as I can still manage it. Unless, of course, if it gets risky, like when I get pregnant. But we talked about it, and I told him I still want to continue what I started because there's so much more to do. It also depends on whether the network still needs my service. If they do, why not?" the "Lolong" star and "Unang Hirit" and "iBilib" host shared during an exclusive chat with The STAR on the sidelines of GMA Regional TV's recent Sinulog festival events.

While some brides stress over every detail, Shaira is going with the flow. While EA is also hands-on, he lets his fiancee have the upperhand in the preps.

image"Bridezilla, definitely not. Yun yung kinakatuwa ko. Parang hindi ako ikakasal kasi wala akong nararamdaman na, 'Oo, ito na, ganito.' Wala pang ganun," said Shaira.

"I'm just chill. If I think of something or get an idea, I pass it on to our wedding planner and coordinator - that's it. Edgar also lets me plan how I want our wedding to be." She and EA are aligned on what they want for their big day. While the latter initially envisioned a grand celebration, Shaira prefers a more intimate gathering.
