The Philippine Star
|August 16, 2025
Popstar royalty Sarah Geronimo performed for the first time her new single, Umaaligid, with P-pop kings SB19 at the "Break a Limit" event of Acer Day 2025 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Canadian hip-hop duo Kuya Productions and Adam Josh. Sarah likened the inspiration to her recent endorsement as the brand ambassador of Sun Life Save and Protect, which can help with her financial journey. She even recorded the jingle for the campaign.
"With the right guidance and advice from them, the experts, they will guide us along the way," said Sarah. "Taking small steps at a time, I chose to have another day as a beautiful one. Even if we have serious issues in life, we need to constantly fight."
"The campaign targets the 25- to 40-year-old bracket to start investing for their future. At that age, they can really prepare for their future," Sarah added. "For a minimum of P2,500 monthly, there is a money-back guarantee after 20 years. There are more benefits."
Sun Life has been in the Philippines for 130 years, a testament to the company's enduring commitment to be every Filipino's partner for life and a milestone year for the company.
"It is not just about looking back for Sunlife, but also looking forward," said Carla Gonzalez-Chong, chief client experience and marketing officer of Sun Life.
