From its first customers who enjoyed the bar’s laid-back groove in Malate in 2005, to the habitues who continue to frequent the current venue in Ortigas for its inventive drag shows today, O Bar has been raising the standard in live entertainment for 20 years now.

O Bar, the establishment founded by partners Ramon Papa and the late Rupert Acuña, together with Alex Ignacio and Peter Acuña, is now recognized as a pioneering force in the professionalization of drag artists in the Philippines, with the fiercely talented queens honing their skills and calibrating their acts before the live audiences who are a lively mix of LGBTQ+ and straight folk that the venue continues to attract every night, from Thursday to Sunday.
