Over the past years, Ipatupad party-list has been helping Filipinos in all aspects of life — from education to health care to development in the countryside — standing firm on the belief that a high tide lifts all boats.
The organization's first nominee, Venus Emperado, knew the importance of all this, owing to her 14-year experience as overseas Filipino worker in Singapore, which shaped her understanding of the challenges and aspirations of hardworking OFWs.
She collaborated with Rep. Victor Yap in 2015, along with Temasek Foundation, to send 100 Filipino scholars to the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for an executive training on urban development.
