|December 09, 2025
(Second of two parts) Our GMA Network Christmas
In this year’s Christmas Station ID, “Puno Ng Puso Ang Pasko,” we take a step back from the usual grand celebrations that mark the season by highlighting these Filipino values: Mapagmahal sa Pamilya, Maabilidad, Mapagmalasakit, Malikhain, Masayahin, Makabayan and Maka-Diyos.
We now continue with beloved artists from Sparkle GMA Artist Center reflecting on how these Filipino values resonate with them. Find out which of the seven Filipino values shine through in their own lives, especially during Christmas.
“Sa akin, pagiging maka-Diyos. Having a deeper relationship with God right now is really important for me and my family. We put God first above anything else. I believe that when you seek Him first, when you live righteously, the rest will be given to you. I start and end my day with a prayer kasi lahat ng meron ako ay galing sa Kanya. All praise to Him.”
“Maka-Diyos. We're celebrating Christmas because it’s Papa Jesus’ birthday. I feel like everyone should reflect on and celebrate Jesus. Christmas din kasi yung time when you get together, you exchange gifts. Tapos after birthday niya, birthday ko rin, eh!
“And also, mapagmalasakit sa kapwa. ‘Yan ‘yung maraming kumakatok sa doors and nag-aabot ako ng food. ‘Pag Christmas season, you're more generous to people, you're kinder. Everyone is kinder to one another. We just want love and peace during this season.”
