Friend and/or foe? AI in today's politics

Artificial intelligence has grown in popularity in recent years. Despite originally being cultivated in the 1950s to 1960s in the United States, the world has only seen the role it may play to increase productivity and efficiency after more than four decades. Because of its complexity, however, there is no single definition of which scholars agree upon. In brief, these tools are capable of thinking and acting humanly as well as rationally. Through algorithms, they have the ability to think and act like human beings by merely acting upon the prompt they receive.
