Firms can seek NCR wage hike exemption until Sept. 14

Eligible companies have until Sept. 14 to file for exemptions from the latest wage hike order for the National Capital Region (NCR), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said yesterday.
“As in any wage order, and as provided for in the NWPC (National Wages and Productivity Commission) Omnibus Rules on Minimum Wage Determination, (companies) may apply to the RTWPB (Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board) for exemption from the wage increase,” DOLE-NCR said in a soci
