DYLAN MENOR FEATURED IN 2 CIGNAL PLAY MICRODRAMAS
The Philippine Star
|July 22, 2025
Rising singer-actor Dylan Menor felt "overwhelmed" and grateful by the growing list of projects flowing into his career.
Among them are Cignal Play's recently launched microdramas, where he is featured in two series, "My Father's Last Wish" and "A Cure Called Love."
He is also part of Viva One's "Mission Impossible: Seducing Drake Palma," alongside Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji. He launched his debut single Maghapon, under Universal Records Philippines early this year.
During the Cignal Play's mediacon held at the Cignal Launchpad Lobby, TV5 office in Mandaluyong City, he was asked for his reaction to being hailed as "this generation's next leading man."
"Oh my God. I don't know how to feel. Until now, I'm still overwhelmed with what's happening. But I'm thankful that they're giving me opportunities. And I make sure to work myself pa, improve on my craft if that's what they want from me, to be a leading man. So, if that's what they want, then for me, I'm very appreciative and I'll do my job. I'll do my best," he humbly responded.
It has been his goal to do an action genre series or movie and essay a lead role in a romantic comedy movie. Given the chance to star in the latter, Dylan said he is open to working with anyone as his onscreen partner. "I'm not choosy. As long as mag-click kami, there's chemistry, (I'm open to collaborate with) any artist."
As a newcomer in the entertainment business, Dylan acknowledged that it's inevitable to experience self-doubt. "But as long as you have trust in yourself, you have the courage to work hard for your craft and show people the role you have to portray, that's what's important," he added.
The young artist previously attended an acting workshop with direk Rahyan Carlos, where the former earned praise from the director for his performance.
