Deactivated Voters Can Apply for Reactivation

Deactivated voters who intend to vote in the coming barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) may reactivate their status during the resumption of the voter registration in August, according to the Commission on Elections.

The Comelec said that online applications for reactivation as well as reactivation with correction of entries and update of records of senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) would be accepted by the Office of the Election Officers from Aug. 1 to 7.

However, the Comelec will not accept applications for transfer of registration records, either filed alone or in combination with other types of applications during the registration period.
