Cosco profit rises by 3.4 % in 2025

Cosco Capital Inc., the listed retail holding firm of tycoon Lucio Co, grew its earnings by 3.4 percent to P15.96 billion in 2025 amid strong operating performance from the group’s major business segments.
The company also reported a 10.6-per-cent increase in revenues to P262 billion last year from P237 billion in 2024.
The group’s grocery retailing businesses, Puregold Price Club Inc. and S&R Membership Shopping Club, accounted for 68 percent of total net income during the year, followed by liquor distribution with 23.5 percent, commercial real estate segment with seven percent, energy and minerals with one percent and specialty retail with 0.5 percent.
