Amiable Alden Richards, with that signature bedimpled smile, seems to have a lot on his plate this year. The Sparkle GMA Artist Center actor revealed what fans can look forward to from him in a recent group interview after the event that welcomed him as the brand ambassador of clear aligners, Specialign.
“Medyo loaded tayo this year with a lot of projects (we're a bit loaded and busy),” said he. “I'll be doing one series with a streaming platform that you will know (the details about it) eventually this first quarter of the year. There’s ‘Code Gray.’ So, I’m back on primetime.”
He also generously shared that the dance reality competition, “Stars on the Floor,” is also returning for season two, with him as host.
“Medyo puno na yung halos half of the year (my half of the year is a bit, almost filled already),” described Alden, who will juggle his working days between acting and hosting.
“This is the first time I’m going to be portraying a medical practitioner, particularly a surgeon. So, this is a medical drama (and) action in a way,” said he about the soon-to-air Kapuso series. “Naging engineer na tayo. Naging architect. Naging superhero. Naging lawyer (I've played roles such as engineer, architect, superhero and lawyer). So, wala tayong has anything to do with the medical field. So, it’s exciting
