The Philippine Star
|November 16, 2025
Seven startups have each received P1 million in grants as part of the Quezon City government's program to support ideas that offer innovative solutions to various social issues.
The grant recipients belong to the fourth cohort of the Startup QC Program - an initiative that aims to enhance the local startup ecosystem by providing support from industry practitioners, academe and the city government.
“Innovation is not just about technology — it is about empathy, service and equity,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said in a statement following the Demo Day for the finalists.
