20 years of volunteerism

Citi Philippines celebrated the 20th year anniversary of Global Community Day with more than 2,000 volunteers across 15 activities which were organized together with seven community organizations, including World Vision Philippines, ChildHope Philippines, the Philippine Business for Social Progress, GMA Kapuso Foundation, the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), CARA Welfare Philippines and Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation.

Global Community Day (GCD) began in 2006 with the recognition that Citi has a unique opportunity to harness the drive and dedication of employees to give back to their local communities in more than 80 countries and territories, as of this year. Over the past two decades, GCD has become an annual tradition, and volunteerism has reinforced Citi's strong culture of service, helping teams build deeper relationships with local communities and with each other.
