Pilgrim rescued from Ban Ganga River near Katra

In a quick and courageous rescue effort today, the District Police Reasi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board successfully saved a pilgrim who slipped into the fast-flowing Ban Ganga river near Katra.
The pilgrim, identified as Indradev Sah, son of Sito Shah from Karawal Nagar, North East Delhi, lost his balance and fell into the river, becoming trapped between rocks in the strong current.
