Khajuria seeks adequate anti-venom stock in rural Health Centres

Jammu Tawi: Human rights activist Om Parkash Khajuria has urged the Jammu and Kashmir Government and Health Department to ensure adequate availability of anti-venom injections and emergency medicines in all Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), Sub-District Hospitals and other medical facilities across the Union Territory ahead of the monsoon and paddy cultivation season.

Khajuria expressed concern over the rising risk of snakebites and other venomous creature attacks during the rainy season, particularly in rural and agricultural areas where farmers and labourers spend long hours in water-logged fields and marshy terrain.
