Doda Adm gears up for Int'l Day of Yoga

A comprehensive preparatory meeting for the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 was today held here in the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.
The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Harvinder Singh aimed at finalizing arrangements for the grand event scheduled on June 21.
The meeting decided to host the main celebration at famous Gatha Park, Bhaderwah, with parallel events to be organized at all Government Degree Colleges, prominent tourist destinations, vibrant villages and near Amrit Sarovars across the district.
In addition to yoga sessions, the event will feature cultural events, painting competitions and fun activities for children to make sure wider community engagement. Youth Services & Sports and Education departments were instructed to mobilize maximum student participation.
