Week after MT's demise, his favourite editor dies
The New Indian Express
|January 03, 2025
S JAYACHANDRAN NAIR, a revered editor, author, critic, and screenplay writer who transformed Malayalam magazine journalism, passed away in Bengaluru on Thursday at 85.
-
It is a poignant coincidence that Nair departed exactly a week after legendary writer MT Vasudevan Nair. Jayachandran Nair could well be called MT's favourite editor, having published his magnum opus Randamoozham in Kala Kaumudi and later Varanasi in Samakalika Malayalam Weekly.
