Goair, pension provisions drag down BoB earnings

AN additional ₹550 crore provision for bankrupt Goair, along with another ₹800 crore for pensions, has scuppered the overall numbers of Bank of Baroda, which on Friday reported a muted 2.3% growth in net income at 4,886 crore for the March quarter.
For the full financial year, the bank's net profit rose 26% to 17,789 crore from 14,110 crore in the preceding fiscal.
