We had earlier reported that RJ Balaji will be starring in debut director Sidharth Vishwanath's Sorgavaasal. The first look of the film was released by Pa Ranjith on Saturday.

According to reports, the film is said to take place in 1999 in Chennai. In the first announcement of Sorgavaasal which was released months ago, Netflix, which had bought the post-theatrical rights for the film wrote, “No door can stop this jailbreak. RJ Balaji will break down heaven's doors to come to you.”
