FORMER Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat of Congress, along with BJP leaders, including Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat and former MP Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', have voiced strong objections to DGP Abhinav Kumar's statement regarding the state's law and order situation.
A few days ago, Kumar questioned political leaders about their statements on the alleged poor law and order situation in the state.
In an embarrassing rebuke to their own government, BJP leaders have publicly criticized the DGP's remarks. Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat went a step further, saying, "The DGP should work within his domain."
