4 Bodies Found, 5 Still Trapped in Assam Coal Mine

THE bodies of three miners, who were trapped inside a coal mine in Assam's Dima Hasao district, were recovered by the personnel of Army, Navy and National Disaster Response Force during a joint operation on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Lijen Magar (27) of Kalamati village of Umrangso in Dima Hasao, Khusi Mohan Rai (57) of Magergaon in Kokrajhar district and Sarat Goyary (37) of Thailapara in Sonitpur district. Two of the bodies were recovered by Arm
