Irregularities in selection of candidates under 10% EWS quota, alleges Anbalagan

Addressing media today, Anbalagan said over 10,766 candidates appeared for the examination held for 256 ministerial assistant posts after a long gap. He noted that reservation had been provided across categories—104 for general, 46 for Most Backward Classes, 41 for Scheduled Castes, 28 for Backward Classes, 25 for EWS, 5 each for EBS and BCM categories, and one each for BT and ST categories.
