Foundation Laid for ₹24cr Substation at Thanur

AGRICULTURE and Farmers Welfare Minister MRK Panneerselvam on Friday laid the foundation stone for a new 110/22 KV substation worth ₹24.54 crore at Thanur in Kurinjipadi Union, Cuddalore.
According to a statement, the new substation will have four new feeders. A 7.13 km line will be laid in Thanur, a 7.66 km line in Aalapakkam, a 4.12 km line in Kayalpattu, and a 7.5 km line in Thiruchopuram.
