Crackdown on fake drug as QR code must for sale of essential medicines

JHARKHAND Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari ordered that no essential medicine without a QR code can be sold in the state.

According to him, the decision was made to curb the state's fake drug business. Also, it will enable anyone to distinguish between counterfeit and original medicines with the help of a phone scanner.
