AIADMK will join stir against Cuddalore bus stand relocation

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami on Saturday said his party will stand with the people of Cuddalore in their protest against the proposed relocation of the Cuddalore bus stand.

Addressing a public meeting as part of his campaign, Palaniswami said, "The AIADMK will participate in the protest to be organised next week by the people and vendors. Bus stands should be easily accessible. During our rule, we selected a site near the collectorate for the construction of the bus stand. However, the present DMK minister from this district is shifting the facility to his constituency. This will force people to travel long distance."
