TTD Chairman Announces Recruitment of 400 Nurses, 100 Faculty and 50 Employees
TIRUMALA: Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board Chairman B.R. Naidu, in his capacity as Chancellor of the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Deemed University, assured that the State government will clear ₹80 crore NTR Vaidya Seva dues to the SVIMS Super Speciality Hospital soon.
Presiding over the 13th convocation of SVIMS at the Mahati Auditorium on Wednesday, he announced that the TTD Trust Board has approved the recruitment of 400 nursing posts, 100 faculty posts, and 48 administrative staff, incurring an additional annual financial commitment of ₹71 crore. He noted that TTD already provides ₹51 crore for wages and ₹28 crore through the 'Pranadhana Scheme', spending overall ₹100 crore per annum.
