"BEING recruited to Kerala Police football team at the age of 17 was the turning point of my life," said Padma Shri awardee and former international footballer I M Vijayan.
He was speaking at 'Meet the Press' organised by the Thrissur Press Club.
Vijayan shared how the coaching he received from football stalwarts like T K Chathunni and C V Pappachan gave him the confidence to perform well. He said that the trust his superiors had on him inspired him for the journey ahead.
