CHILDREN under 18 will require parental consent to create social media accounts, according to the new draft regulations for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. If data fiduciaries—entities that process data—transfer Indians’ personal data abroad, they will have to strictly comply with some additional rules set by the Central government.
