First Batch Of Participants Gets Rousing Reception

The first batch of students who arrived in the capital to take part in the 63rd State Kalolsavam was given a rousing reception at Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station on January 3 at 2 pm.

Education Minister V Sivankutty, Kovalam MLA M Vincent, Janadhipathya Kerala Congress leader and MLA of Thiruvananthapuram West Assembly Constituency Antony Raju and Minister for Food and Civil Supplies G R Anil welcomed the students by garlanding them. An energetic and high-spirited chenda melam was performed as they entered the first platform. The kalolsavam flag was handed over to Sivankutty upon their entrance. The students, teachers, and parents were thrilled to experience the rapturous welcome.
