Skill at School, digital library launch soon, says Minister Madhu

MINISTER for School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa said on Monday that the state government is working on launching a 'Skill at School' initiative.

Besides, a digital library service will soon be available to Kannadigas in Karnataka and across the world.

Speaking at a press conference at Sahitya Grama in the city, the minister spoke about the need to introduce skill-based learning at an earlier stage in the education system. He said that students should begin acquiring essential skills during high school itself, rather than waiting until they enroll in or complete pre-university education.

To address this, the state government is working on launching a 'Skill at School' initiative. The objective of this programme is to ensure that students receive skill-based education at an early stage, making them better prepared for the job market and higher education opportunities. The government will officially announce this initiative soon.
