MF assets jump over 23% in FY25 to ₹65.74L cr

THE mutual funds industry has closed FY25 with a 23.11% growth in asset under management (AUM) at ₹65.74 trillion (₹65.74 lakh cr), up from ₹53.40 lakh crore in March 2024, while the number of folios jumped close to 32%, showed the latest Amfi data released on Friday.
This comes amid six-month-long market rout and the closing month of March seeing massive outflows from nearly all categories led by equity funds dropping to an 11-month low and SIPs losing the verve to hit a four-month low in inflows. In February, the AMU stood at ₹64.53 lakh crore.
