Literary meeting resolutions rarely implemented

NADOJA Go Ru Channabasappa said that when he was the president of the Central Kannada Sahitya Parishat, he formed a literary fest resolution implementation committee to work as a link to the government and the committee should continue to work as intermediaries with the government for the effective implementation of resolutions.

Go Ru Channabasappa was selected as president of the 87th Kannada literary conference to be held in Mandya from December 20.

Replying to questions from media persons at an interaction programme after he was accorded felicitation at Press Club on Tuesday, he rued that 80 per cent of the resolutions passed in the literary fests were not implemented and for their implementation, the committee should continue to function.
