'Jab We Met' redux: Woman leaves home to marry lover, returns with another man

IN a story that reads like the plot of the 2007 cult classic 'Jab We Met' starring Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor as Geet and Aditya, a 22-year-old woman from Indore left home on August 23 to marry her lover, only to end up tying the knot with a stranger instead.
Shraddha Tiwari, a BBA student, had dreamt of getting hitched to her lover, Sarthak. But she was in for a shock when he didn't turn up at the Indore railway station, from where they were supposed to run away. She was left devastated on learning that he no longer wanted to marry her. Heartbroken, Shraddha boarded a train, without knowing where to go. She got off a few hours later at the Ratlam station—incidentally, the same station in western MP where a similar situation played out
