Entrance test at Alva's Kannada Medium School witnesses massive turnout

THE entrance test for the 2025-26 academic year at Alva's Kannada Medium School, catering to students from 6th to 9th standard, saw a significant turnout.
Out of the 20,134 applicants from the border districts of Kasaragod and Maharashtra, as well as 32 educational districts across Karnataka, 18,634 students appeared for the exam.
The examination was held at the Vidyagiri and Puttige campuses on Sunday. Alva's Education Foundation Chairman, Dr M Mohan Alva, addressed a press conference following the examination, emphasizing the importance of Kannada medium education.
