Banjara community to protest over internal quota issue

THE Banjara Community will stage a protest against the state government opposing implementation of internal reservation among SC and the protest will be taken in front of Deputy Commissioner's office in the city on September 1, said Shashikumar Naik, Banjara Community leader.
He told reporters here on Friday that the protest will be taken at 10.30 am on September 1.
The report submitted by Justice Nagmohan Das Commission is highly unscientific.
The government has to implement internal reservation without doing injustice to other communities, he added.
He said that when BJP was in rule, it provided 4.5% internal reservation to 99 castes.
Now the government has given 5% reservation by including 63 castes which is unscientific.
