The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee on Thursday sought a ban on screening Kangana Ranaut-starrer, 'Emergency', in Punjab, a day before the film's release.
Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami wrote to CM Bhagwant Mann saying the movie was a calculated attempt to distort history and harm Sikh sentiments. Releasing it could provoke outrage within the Sikh community, he cautioned, adding "the government
