Dhanbad residents resist admin’s relocation efforts away from gas leak area

According to Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan, the affected families are reluctant to shift. On Saturday, several of them were taken to the proposed site in Belgadia, but they were reluctant citing trivial issues.

The gas leak was first reported in Rajput Basti, where two women died and over two dozen-mostly women and children-were admitted to BCCL's Kustore Regional Hospital and Central Hospital, Dhanbad.
