Cong fact-finding committee finds water at few MCC wards not potable

MLC Ivan D'Souza on Saturday said the Congress fact-finding committee has found out that the water supplied to a few wards in Surathkal by Mangaluru City Corporation is not potable and accused the administration of failing to supply treated water to people.
Addressing a press conference in Mangaluru, Ivan said that after the issue was raised during a last council meeting by councillors, including Praveenchandra Alva, Opposition leader Anil Kumar, they decided to take up the matter and find a solution.
