A FRESH controversy has flared up in Kozhikode after students of the Government Medical College Campus Higher Secondary School were given a holiday to participate in a demonstration held as part of the SFI national conference.
The decision has sparked widespread criticism and debate over the politicisation of school campuses. According to reports, headmaster Sunil granted the leave following a formal request from SFI leaders.
The headmaster confirmed the move, stating, "The demand from the student organisation could not be rejected."
