Haritha Keralam Mission launches campaign against plastic kanikkonna

THE HARITHA Keralam Mission has launched a campaign urging the public to shun plastic kanikkonna flowers, widely used in festive decorations across the state.

The initiative follows a report by TNIE highlighting the growing use of plastic replicas during festive occasions, especially Vishu.

The Suchitwa Mission, which is partnering in the campaign, announced that a dedicated social media drive will raise public awareness about the environmental damage caused by these artificial flowers.
