SAFEGUARDING the Constitution is the responsibility of every citizen, Health Minister Veena George said on Friday. She was delivering the Independence Day message after hoisting the national flag at the 79th Independence Day celebrations held at Catholicate College ground in Pathanamthitta.
India, she said, is a great nation united by people of diverse languages, cultures, cuisines, and art forms. "The Constitution connects and binds us together. For the country to remain free, it must be protected along with our fundamental rights," she said.
