RTI Commission ensures justice to jail inmate

KERALA STATE Information Commissioner Dr A A Hakeem ensured that a prisoner at Thiruvananthapuram Central Jail received the requested documents instantly during a Right to Information (RTI) hearing held at the Ambalappuzha Taluk Office Conference Hall on Thursday.
The prisoner, who was accused of a murder case, had submitted an RTI application demanding copies of a few documents in connection with proving his innocence, to the Public Information Officer of the Kayamkulam Fire Station through jail authorities on November 6, 2023.
