AC Road Renovation Work Nears Completion

Widening of major bridges along road - Muttar, Kidangara & Nedumudi bridges - completed, finishing touches remain
The reconstruction work of the Alappuzha-Changanassery (AC) road, which connects Kottayam and Alappuzha districts, is now in its final stages.
The 24-km-long road, initiated under the Rebuild Kerala initiative at a cost of ₹671.66 crore, is being rebuilt with a long-term vision of mitigating flood-related disruptions.
The Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP) is executing the project.
The construction is being carried out by Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society (ULCCS) in collaboration with Everestcon (JV).
