Probe into recognition, admissions of all univs, degree colleges in UP

THE Uttar Pradesh government on Monday ordered a comprehensive investigation into all courses offered by the state's public and private universities, degree colleges, and other educational institutions, as well as their recognition and admission processes.

Following a meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath announced that a special team of officials would be established in each district, comprising senior representatives from the administrative, police, and education departments, to conduct the investigation. No student should be enrolled in an unrecognised programme, the CM stated.
